Our Fee:

1. TheMakeADreamComeTrue.com is a For Profit Social Enterprise to raise $$ for various Charities and Projects.  There are no upfront costs or fees to host an auction or a Project with us. We deduct a percentage-based fee at the close of a successful event or auction to ensure a no-risk solution to your fundraising efforts. 80% of the net funds raised is remitted to the charitable beneficiary unless noted otherwise on the individual lot page.

My purpose in reaching out to you today is to introduce and inform you about the recent establishment of Make a Dream Come True Projects to involve the business and local communities to help raise $$ for philanthropic efforts. As the former CEO of a renowned Brand Management, Career Consulting & Talent Search Firm for over three decades, we now embark on a new journey - one that focuses on addressing the profound struggles faced by parentless foster children who are released from the system at the age of 16, without any further public assistance.

It deeply saddens me to witness the plight of these vulnerable young individuals, especially amidst the backdrop of the current COVID-19 crisis. Many of them find themselves homeless, subsequently being compelled to seek refuge on the streets, where they are at risk of being picked up and placed in the Mental Health Units of County Jails, housed alongside real mentally ill inmates. Within the confinement of these facilities, they are exposed to an environment of isolation and desolation, which perpetuates a cycle of imprisonment, both physically and mentally.

In the United States alone, a staggering 4.5 million parentless aged-out foster children are released each year. It is our responsibility, as a compassionate society, to provide these hapless youth with a glimmer of hope and an opportunity to dream, just like their counterparts who have been fortunate enough to experience the love and care of parents. With this noble intention in mind, we launched the For-Profit MakeADreamComeTrue project in Greenwich, CT on August 1st, 2023.

The mission of our foundation is clear - we aim to alleviate the abandonment endured by these young souls and restore their faith in humanity. Drawing upon my extensive experience in the recruitment industry, coupled with my son's chain of restaurants, we envision transforming the lives of over 4000 at-risk foster kids in Connecticut and other states. To achieve this, we are dedicated to raising funds through sponsorship, generous donations, and captivating event dinners, and Meets & Greets with Celebrities in partnership with www.CharityBuzz.org.

Our objective is twofold. Firstly, we commit to providing paid, on-the-job, six-week apprenticeships and subsequent employment at our four current restaurant locations and paticipating local businesses. During this pivotal time of transition, we will cooperate with local providers to ensure these young individuals have access to adequate housing, transportation, and other forms of sustenance. This comprehensive approach aims to empower them to forge a promising future, ultimately breaking free from the chains of homelessness or incarceration within the county jail systems.

Moreover, our vision extends beyond Connecticut. We aspire to establish a successful pilot program at our family business locations, with the intent to inspire and engage other businesses across the nation to follow suit. By simulating this initiative on a broader scale, we can collectively shape a brighter tomorrow for America's foster youth, instilling hope and a renewed sense of purpose.

To make this vision a reality, I humbly seek your support and participation. Our foundation offers a variety of exclusive fundraising opportunities through dinner events at our esteemed restaurants in Greenwich.

 

Allow me to elucidate the sponsorship options available-

1. Dinner Event Sponsors: A remarkable chance to make a substantial impact, with sponsorship valued at $25,000 per event.

2. Table Sponsors: A significant contribution of $10,000 per table, offering an unforgettable dining experience coupled with the satisfaction of changing lives.

3. Banner Sponsors: A recognition opportunity priced at $1,000 per banner, prominently displayed during these vital fundraising events.

4. Individual Donations: We warmly welcome those who wish to contribute through their own generosity during these events, be it through an extra tip added to the total bill.

5. Meets & Greets with A-List Celebrities: We raise funds with auctions of one-on-one in-person or Zoom meetings through our fundraising partner-www.charitybuzz.com. 

In addition, our four restaurant locations pledge to contribute 20% of the dinner event proceeds to the foundation, further reinforcing our commitment to enhancing the lives of our foster youth.
